The ice Kingdom

I am having a lot of trouble getting through the gate in the Ice Kingdom. I wait and use the dragon breath when I get there, but I just can't collapse the bridge before the top brick hits the red line!!! Any suggestions? Thanks.

Keep plugging.. I finally finished the game and now have played it another 4 times.. Keep trying.. it will come. The nice thing about this game is that you are never truly "undone" because you can keep going back.
The trick on some of these is to listen to the noises and be prepared to right click. Use your weapons and buy them each time and also take the side trips.. There are surprises.. I had to play the game again just to finish the story since I didn't take a side trip and needed something from one of them.

My friend is playing the game. She askes....what 'side' trips are you talking about...? She just made level 3....'Barnabas'. Thank you, vb.

In each chapter there are optional levels. After finishing them you get a reward - sometimes an extra life, but other times a special item needed for finishing the story. Different combinations of items allow you different items.

I'm still working through the multiple endings. All I know so far is as follows:

If you do all optional levels PLUS go through the Counts Castle (as opposed to the boneyard), you will receive all the things you need for a "perfect" ending.

If you do all the optional trips but go through the boneyard instead of the castle, you get a happy ending, but not a fancy wedding - you have to elope.

As I get more things figured out I'll post them as "Spoilers" - invisible unless you highlight the text.

has anyone got any ideas on getting that bridge to collapse. i have used the dragons breath......to no avail and then i get fried by the red line.....i have tried this a hundred times if not once....thanks for any help
