Chocolatier Games

Does anyone know if they are coming out with a third chocolatier game? I loved the first two and would love another.

Well, the sequel only just came out this year. So you just have to wait and see if there will be a third Chocolatier game - sometimes next year.

Personally, I can do without a third instalment. There wasn't all that much difference between the first and second game, and with a third one it might become a 'been there, done it'.

i have chocolatier one and two i loved them but i didn't like three cos it was like a time management game it has a cake mania kinda vibe to it

I know playfirst was asking what people wanted in a third chocolatier so I would expect one to be out sometime next year.

The Great Chocolate Chase is not considered Chocolatier 3 as it is a different type of game.

Yes Chocolatier 3 - Decadence by Design is coming soon. I found some information about it on the Play First web site. People have already tested the beta version, but I don't know how long it will be before the game is released.

There is an option on the Play First site to be emailed when it is released if you are interested.

If you take a look in the main menu of Secret Ingredients you'll see that there's an option to click that will take you to a page detailing the first, second, and yes a third installment. There's is also the "rush" style addition to the Chocolatier family.

Chocolatier - Decadence by design is now out at Playfirst where you can play a free one hour demo. It looks very good! Can't wait for Big Fish to release it

Does anybody know's when it coming out overhere??? I CANT wait anymore lolll

I have tried Chocolatier 3 at PlayFirst and their is a major clitch for some users such as myself.

The trays don't catch the ingredients so I only played the first let's make 5 chocolates level and couldn't get past it as I couldn't make enough chocolates. This is happening even when I am clearly on a vacant space within the tray - the ingredients simply flies past the tray. They people at PlayFirst say they are aware of the problem and are working on it.

Having played the others I was very disappointed and hope they fix it.

From reading the comments of those who don't have this glitch they like it very much - particularly as it seems we get to actually create chocolate recipes ourselves, rather than just have to locate ingredients that the game has already decided will make good recipes.

I've played the demo and am waiting for to get it, probably next month.

I noticed with the trays that I missed a lot as well. You actually have to aim at an empty spot this time instead of just aiming for the tray, so they've made it a bit more difficult.

I loved the game though and it will go on my want list once it gets here.

chocolate chase is actually the third game in the series. Chocolatier Dacadence by design is the 4th game. this is not offered on big fish yet. you can play free for 60 minutes at playfirst.com. it is as good as 1 & 2. can't wait for big fish to come out with it

They have now fixed the glitch and you only have to aim at the tray and it will capture it the same as in the last games.

I will be buying when it comes here unless I have to wait too long, in which case I will simply get it there.

Please BigFish let us know how long the wait will be?

Okay, so I gave in and bought it from Playfirst.com, i just couldnt wait any longer! I just finished the game and let me tell you, sooooooo fun!

WARNING IM ABOUT TO GIVE SPOILERS SO IF YOU DONT WANNA KNOW ABOUT THE GAME, DONT READ.


It takes a bit longer to complete now (which is great!) and they make it harder to complete tasks by only allowing each factory to make one sort of chocolate... meaning only one can make truffles, one for bars, one for infusions, and so on... no more upgrading each factory to make it do what u want. On a positive note, the laboratory that you see in the 2nd chocolatier is still in the game and this time creativity is completely up to you. No more icky faces from the guy, you can make whatever you want. The only thing he will warn you of is if for example you are making a truffle and you accidentally leave out truffle powder... he will make you put it in. Otherwise its all up to you! That makes it a lot better for those of us who like to play it multiple times, you can keep coming up with new chocolates over and over again. And you get to name them and completely style them to look how u want.

There r a ton of ports and locations to go to that pop up randomly during the course of the game (not just the ones marked out in the beginning) and LOTS of things to do.

The bug has been fixed for sure (the one that was brought up here), i played thru without a problem with the aiming and the trays/conveyor belts.

The only weird thing to me is that the ending is very low key, not all grand like the others... i almost didn't realize i was finished, and i had to complete some orders before i could even end my game. lol

Anyways, this is my fave of all 3. There is rarely a dull moment, and again SOOOO fun!!! Hopefully it will come out on BigFish soon for you guys!!! I know anyone who liked 1 & 2 is going to just love #3.

Usually it's 1-1 1/2 months before Playfirst releases their games to other distributors.
