Ravenhearst--No Basement-- figured it out

I got the 7 keys, but the tab to the basement is not active, so I can't get in. Is this a glitch or do I have to do something else?

edit: I figured out that I can't use the basement when looking for keys--that way I can go there when I have the keys.

I have the seven keys, and am at the door. Cannot figure out what to spell. I tried Charles. Any help out there.spy123spy

I just finished the game. I think that there must be a glitch in the last game. I could only find 5 keys at first, and I had over 55 minutes. I could not click to make the game go faster until it came to about 5 minutes left. When I finally restarted the last level, there were different rooms, and I found all of the keys easily. My first major glitch in a long time....

If I recall the tops of the keys match symbols that you place in some kind of arrangement that will spell the word letter by letter for you.

Place a key in the center machine and it will give you a letter. Find the symbol below that matches the key. Push the button to activate it and scroll through the letters until you find the one that the key machine shows. Repeat this for the other keys.
