Murder on the Orient Express - stuck!

Help! I'm not even on the train yet because I'm stuck with the parasol-eating goat. I've got the character to the goat and she's worked out that it's eating the parasol, but even though I've found the cursor with the hand on it, so she should be able to pick up the parasol, I can't seem to get her to pick up the parasol and return to the old lady - she keeps saying "I don't want to do that" and other unhelpful remarks!

YOU HAVE TO PICK UP THE GRAIN FROM ONE OF THE VENDORS AND FEED IT TO THE GOAT. HE THEN MOVES AND YOU CAN PICK UP THE PARASOL.
