Finished--but it wasn't pretty!!

I came close to uninstalling this game several times because it seemed to get just frustratingly hard too fast.

Of course, I kept coming back to it and finally finished it, with mostly supergoals and a smattering of just goals. The goals, however, were close enough to supergoals, like a cake away, that I could probably improve with practice although I seriously doubt that I will.

In case anyone wants to just finish this darn game, this is how I finally did it, something that I think is kind of a problem with the game. . .

I stuck with one oven and one icer. Upgraded them to the max, as well as buying all toppers and the super treat dispenser.

I also used the prehistoric site as my last level because you can always increase your sales by bashing the line over the head and selling them double cakes with volcano toppers. The club also works well when characters from all of the other levels show up. Rather than deal with my whole line changing orders as they changed into mummies, I'd just bash them with the club and give them whatever I wanted.

I thought that perhaps the bakery goals were tied into what upgrades you have, but that doesn't appear to be the case. The goals were just as high but the triple cakes aren't nearly as time consuming when you only have one oven and one icer. You can easily grab a cake, bake the next one, frost the first, grab the second, bake the third, ice the second, etc. to get through lines quickly. Since the icer can be positioned near the oven, you save a ton of time running around to ice, no matter how fast your shoes are . . .

In fact, it became pretty easy and repetitive except for a couple of the final levels. I'm actually kind of bummed that the game could be won this way. . .

I finished all 5 levels & have made it to the bonus level.I can't finish this level.Did you finish this one?

Finished them all and got to the "bonus" features of the game, saw the end video, etc.

The sixth world had some tougher levels in that I didn't get the supergoals on all of them but they were all pretty manageable if I controlled the number of customers I let in. Some of the levels have a lot of the nuisance characters like the witch and the Egyptian guy who changes everyone into mummies. It gets more complicated because there will also be the Chinese opera stars who basically disable the TV. Still, if I only let two customers in at a time (three if the two didn't include a nuisance character), I could clear them all out and restock customers quickly enough to meet the goal.

The levels with a lot of Robin Hoods were also a pain because I couldn't get as many sugar rushes by leaving tips out . . . My usual mode was to clear out money when I served the 4th customer, then give menus to everyone waiting in line to fill the sugar rush meter quite a bit. I'd get several sugar rushes per level this way. With Robin Hood, it would mess it up, again because there would also be opera stars so the TV couldn't keep the line happy . . .

Great! Glad to hear it! Like I said, I got so frustrated with the game, I seriously considered uninstalling it . . .but it just kept bothering me!!! Hopefully you'll be able to finish it as well. You have the option of replaying it with all of your upgrades. I started doing that and found the first two worlds to be, okay, I'll say it--a piece of cake.

I loaded up the freezer with double cakes/volcano topper (I always make the same double cake so it's easy to recognize when it's been ordered). I've gotten supergoal on the levels with more than half the time left on the clock . . . This strategy doesn't work, though, on the levels where everyone orders the same shaped cake . . .

Spoiler Alert--

There are 5 worlds on the screen as you start. Once you finish the 5 worlds, a 6th world appears.

In that world, there's a robot who will hand out menus and monitor TV channels. When you click on him, the menu bubble changes to an order bubble for all customers in line and the TV channel will change to suit customers as needed.

The robot only works once per level (like the powerups in the other levels, except France) and only works for a short time. I didn't notice any kind of warning when it stopped working, though. I just noticed that the TV channels weren't changing.
