Takes forever to load, crashes

I really did love this game, but once I got round to the other side of the island it takes about 10-15 minutes to load the previous game, and about 10 minutes to load the next part when you finish that level and sometimes during this time it crashes. I found this really annoying, to the point where I gave up playing it.

I've never had it with any other game.
