Time limit in later chapters

[Post New]by joyce2121 on Dec 26, 09 12:37 PM
I do prefer having a choice between timer and relaxed modes.

That said, timer was not a factor in the first two chapters I played
on demo. Am tempted to buy since I was enjoying and did not
feel rushed, however, am concerned that time limit will become
serious problem in later chapters.

If anyone who has finished the game could give some insight on
this, it would be appreciated.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and wish you all
a very Happy New Year.

Hi joyce2121

I consider myself a fairly slow hidden object game player and I played the entire game without an issue with the timer.

As you get further along you do get more scenes to search in the same time limit however as you return to the same scenes many times and often asked to search for the same things you get faster finding the items.

Remember, as well as the instant hints - you have unlimited rechargeable hints and you can use these to advantage if you find yourself pressed for time at any point.

I have played through the game and have had no problem with the time limit.
I agree with everything govegirl said.

This is not a tricky game where the HOs change location if you need to go back to a scene already played, so it is easier to find things the 2nd time around. All the AG games have timers but they're generous & I've never had to repeat a scene or level b/c of that. This is like the older HOGs where you got 40 min to complete a level & were done in 12 & therefore could pat yourself on the back LOL There's also a Pause option in this game if you're feeling pressured or frazzled, so you can walk away for 5 min & come back refreshed.

In fact, the only game where I've ever run out of time is that last puzzle on MCF: Prime Suspects. You only get a few min there & I don't think I've ever finished w/o having to repeat.
