There was another topic about this started a little earlier called ANOTHER HO for today?! Most panned it, but I liked it and bought it. I have no idea about it's length because I haven't finished it. You might go look in that thread for people's impressions.

playing it on demo still, gonna buy it, its really good, no timer- which is a bonus and there are some quite humerous moments. I adore HO games lol

I just played the hour trial and must say I was disappointed. I would not buy this game and there isn't very many HO games that I wont buy. Did not like the pop ups when you click on some items every so often and you have to click the x in corner to close. (that's why I have pop up blocker) Don't like pop ups. As scotcat said, it was to easy and boring. No challenge at all

Just finished this one up, and I liked it. I enjoy stories a lot and would rather do something short-ish and simple with an in-depth story than just clicking forever on something like Mystery P.I. Vegas. The graphics were wonderfully clear (sooo tired of graininess) and I liked the mini-game piloting the sub. Not much replay factor, well none really, but I hardly ever replay so no wrry for me. Not on my shelf of all time faves, certainly, but worth my $7.

Just finished playing forty-five minutes of the game. The story was nice, the interplay between the main characters was cheeky which I enjoyed, the graphics crisp and clear, an untimed game with some mini-games, repetitive scenes with objects in same place, and the background sounds were very acceptable. Usually the music in a game makes me turn it off. This one didn't. Maybe if I played it for hours then it would.

Driving the mini sub on the ocean bottom collecting treasure chests was enjoyable. I alway's wanted to drive one of those vehicles across the ocean.

While I did enjoy the game even with its easy factor, I'm not sure if I'd purchase it or not. If a person is new to the HO genre, this game would be ideal for them. For that reason and some of the others I've already mentioned, I give this game a

Just finished the demo. Very easy- ok graphics and storyline. The demo was enough for me. No replay value in this one.

I agree. But for $6.99 to play it once, very inexpensive entertainment.

Right now I have no plans to purchase this game. Hubby may feel differently when he plays the last fifteen minutes I left for him on the trial. If he say's "yes", then I'll get it for him and complete my game.

hey, same problem with lost secrets. will not work . uninstalled and reinstalled and still wont work. had same problem with a few other games but usually uninstall and reinstall will work. but not this one. checking for solutions via vista windows and no help there either. guess i don't want this one. happy gaming.

shut down computor and then reloaded game and it worked ok. agree there is way too much talking items were easy to find. just played demo. probably wont buy this one. would really like another one as good as madame fate and the mystery / prime suspects type of ho. have a great day all .

by the way thanks for advise on shutting down and reloading. tried just about everything else, drivers, resolution, etc.

I could not get the game to work. I could get to the part where you click PLAY, then I could hear the sounds, but the screen was black. I had to shut my puter down to get out of it! I finally just uninstalled it. I figure I'll try again after they fix the bugs.

I just played the demo. I liked the game fine. It's a game for one of those days where you don't feel like racking your brain. Very easy and smooth. It does get a little repetative seeing the same items in the same room. But for $7.00, if you buy it, it's worth it.

I'm sorry to read some of you are having problems with the game. Have you contacted Tech Support about this?

Personally, I encountered no troubles what-so-ever with this game.

For those having troubles: Run and save your dxdiag file. Send an email to Tech Support explaining which game you played and what happened ... and attach your dxdiag file. It will help them diagnose the issue you are having if they know how your PC is configured.
Good Luck.

Nana, I had same problem, downloaded demo, (from AOL) wouldn't work, uninstalled, downloaded from fire fox, still wouldn't work. So I tried the old tried and true and restarted my computer, waited, waited, then downloaded it again via firefox and this time it worked! I just finished it. I'm not real impressed with it but if you're a rabid HO fan, it's something new, some new articles to look for, some we've seen in most games (those masks seem to pop up everywhere) . It's not the best HO game but some of us are very spoiled with things like Amazon and games like that. Patty

Well I played 15 minutes of the demo and stopped. Got tired of clicking through all the dialog, reminded me of those awful Mysteryville games.
