Red Treasure Chests

How do you get items from the red treasure chests? I have jack already but he can't unlock them. Is there something i have to do to make the items accessible? please help.

You need to find a better picklock. It's in a chest in the forest near the oracle... forgot what it's called!

Jack is the thief boy who can join your team in Thais - you have to do the quest where you have to bring the statue in the sewers to life, and then you have to go find Jack again in Thais prison.

You can only have 7 as you can only have Gavin OR Nicholas - not both. You have to pick which one to play with, though I think you can change them around at any point. Nicholas has healing magic, and I like playing with him because of his sun and lullaby spells, but I think most people prefer playing with Gavin as he has dark magic that does more damage.

They need 5 attraction points and then you can marry them in the church in Candar after the final battle.

The attraction points are:
Get Calliope's Wand for Hilda in Bogwood.
Buy a gold ring for Iya from the street vendor in Candar.
Get a kitten for Iya from Renna in Candar.
Complete the "find silk" quest for Lenora in Candar, and give Iya the ribbon you get as a reward.
Buy a fairy love spell from the vendor in Happily Ever After.
