The Paw Prints in Witchville

I just started Witchville yesterday and now I am at level 30. I am not getting the fox to drop off a gift with a prize on any of the Paw Prints I have passed by. Does the Paw Print only works in the Dragon Island?

This happens occasionally. Eventually your gifts will appear. Neither rhyme nor reason. Be patient.
