Don't think of them as daggers. Think of them as two pegs connected by a horizontal bar that you are going to use as a rock climbing aid.

The way it will work is you will stick one peg into a pre-existing hole in the rock. Then you will swing the other peg around (remember it's connected by a solid bar to the first peg) until you find another hole you can stick that peg into.

So now BOTH pegs are stuck in holes.

To make progress, you loosen the first peg from its hole, so now you're just hanging from the second peg.

You swing that first peg around until you find a NEW hole for it to go into.

Then you loosen the 2nd peg you placed and find it a new hole.

So the first peg is going into all the odd numbered holes you choose, and the second peg is going into all the even numbered holes, and you're working your way along a path to your eventual destination.

The Blog Walkthrough shows you a path that will work. Just remember to keep alternating the peg that you move, so one is for the odd numbers and the other is for the even.

You can imagine how this works in real life if you think about climbing a long ladder where you only put one foot on each rung.

You start with both feet on the ground. You put your right foot on the first rung.

Now you put your left foot on the second rung.

Then your right foot on the third rung.

Then your left foot on the fourth rung.

Do you see how your right foot is always on an odd rung and your left foot is always on an even one? And you're alternating, fixing one and moving the other through the air past it? And the whole time your two legs are obviously connected through your body?

This is a similar idea. Place the first peg. Move the second past it to the next hole. Then lift the first peg again and swing it past the second peg to the third hole. Odd, even, odd.

To make the pegs go where you want in the game, you just click on the peg, then drag it to the hole you want to put it into.

Did that help?
