homemade dynamite

I have the dynamite ready to punch 2 holes in the top,but the top of the cork is off of the screen. The awl pops back into place.

Just to make sure. Did you use the sulfur charcoal and saltpeter? And did you put the corks on top? If so I don't know why you are having a problem. It worked for me. I am using Windows 7.
