Unslingos-how to get them

What exactly is an unslingo? The game says a match without creating a slingo. Is that a match in all 5 reels on one spin, or 5 matches on the board in general with one spin? Do joker cells count? I have 17 so far and have no idea how I got them. Anyone who knows how to get one on purpose, please share your ideas.

I was in the hopes this post would tell me how on earth to get them. lol I have all my awards except that one and the one where you have to have all of them. Can't get the one without the other and I haven't a clue how to get 20 unslingos and like you, haven't a clue how I even got the 17.

To get UnSlingo, you need to make 20 matches in one game before you start getting slingos.
There's a number of different shapes you can make that will satisfy this requirement.

Probably the simplest is to leave a diagonal stripe of 5 cells not matches, and match everything else.

How can this be done when the numbers are random i have tried sevral times and get down to about 18 and then the next number that comes up is a slingo number.and you cant move anything until you select it.

I was just reading in another thread that your best bet of trying to get this is to play with no power-ups...
