i have everything up til tearing the wall paper but my knife wont tear it

frustrated? oh i am past that i have tried to tear the wallpaper with my knife for twenty minutes now and im to the point of anxiety attack hehe please tell me what im doing wrong? I move the cabinet and pick up knife, next i hold it at the top ;eft part of the wallpaper the only part really showing and try and tear it but it moves up and down whats missing?

HI Lady Rebay! Welcome to the forums!

I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble. You have to use the knife twice on the wallpaper, if I recall. I don't believe that you had to do it in a special way.

If you are saying that you only see top left- did you swing out the glass cabinet first? You won't be able to do this until you have found the floor plans.

yes i moved the cabinet out and tried the knife a few times i have all the plans and everything else in my inventory up to thios point lol i sorta cheated i dl'd the strategy guide to keep an eye on my progress but still having probs with the knife. Ill try again right now and let u know how it goes ty for ur prompt assist

Try examining it without the knife first. Click around and see if Carol says anything. Then try the knife. I don't recall having to hold the mouse down, so try just clicking on it once.

Let me know what happens

I tried that and i have to hold the mouse down inorder to hold anything from my inventory not sure why but will keep trying and tomorrow get in touch with a techy maybethey have a clue

Yay guess where i azm stuck this time hehe i got the other thingds but trying to use the metal detector and fishing pole ( i pout them together) to get the crow bar it wont let me have it even thou i talked to gardener and he told me where it was. I am now stuck trying to retrieve it. not sure why but i use the pole combo and it wont lift it out of water for me. what am i doing wrong now? Gaw what ouls we all do with out you?

When you walked out of the herb garden, did you go straight across the path to the river?

I wonder if your video card drivers need updating. Have you heard back from tech support?

yes i did and my pc is new checked the drivers thou updated couple weeks ago automatically

yes i was i was on the wrong side. after moving the cabinet i was near the cabinet side of the wall thats my m,istake now im stuck trying to get the crowbar wont let me pick it up
