I think this is the number one question in this forum Please scroll down for the position of the weights!
The solution for the weights is as follows:
* Click on the mechanism on the right side of the wall.
* Place the Gear in the center of the mechanism.
* Different shapes correspond to different weights.
* Place gears on the pedestals in the upper center to bring the gears to the correct positions so they can move.
* Click on a weight to pick it up and attach it to your cursor.
* To remove a weight simply click on it and place it in another spot, or at the bottom of the scene.
* You can only place one weight in each spot.
* If you look at each pedestal you will notice a geometrical shape. There are also some etchings in the lower left with the same shapes.
# The solution from left to right is: “623”.
# As soon as the puzzle has been completed, you will see the image of the door that leads to the Square opening.
Thanks,
Margie B

The etchings are the solution to what each shape weighs.
3 triangles = 2 squares = 1 hexagon so triangle = 2, square = 3, hexagon = 6:
3 * 2 = 2 * 3 = 1 * 6.
The order for the weights is hexagon, triangle, square, therefore 6, 2, 3.

I cheated and looked in the walk through blog, can anyone please please tell me how 3 triangles+2 squares = 1 hexegan comes out at 623

I've extended my answer above your post, bazzaboy.
It's not +, it's =.

Thank You Sooooooooooooo Much!!!!!!!!! I have been trying to solve this part for awhile. even got the family involved. Once again MargieB Thank You soooooooooooo very much.

Ah, of course! Duh, the number of sides to each of the objects. Thank you!

actually it is not the number of sides. If you think of it as 1x = 3y = 2z it makes sense. The only numbers that fit are x=6, y=2, & z=3. It's just a math problem using shapes instead of letters as the unknown numbers.

Thank you!!! OMG, I've been going crazy trying to figure it out! LOL

tyvm for the info on the weight otherwise I would of never figured it out. First time also. Again tyvm ME

Thanks a lot, already spent 2 hours on this.

I know that the answer to this puzzle is 6 3 2. 6 for the hexigon, 3 for the 3 triangles (and sides) and 2 for the 2 squares. My problem is that an image of the door does not appear. What could be wrong? Note of the left is a drawing 3 triangles, 2 square and only one hexagon but the hexagon has 6 sides.

I'm glad to find a solution to the weights. But, where will I find the gear that goes in?
Thanks for any help!

Thanks for your help! I just discovered this game (and Bigfish, for that matter) and was a bit sad because I was loving it and suddenly got stuck!! Kisses from Portugal!
