Love it!

This is one of the creepiest games ever. The graphics are BRILLIANTLY alien like, original, and highly addictive gameplay with the traditional big baddy at the end of each level makes it a winner. Its not easy (particularly if you are down to a one-shot fire because you got hit too many times) and the powerups / things being dropped when you shoot the baddies could be better explained what they are and what they do, but there is no game like this on the planet.

I've never played 3 or 4, so I don't know if they measure up, but Star Defender 2 was worth the money. I haven't got to the end yet, and I've had it for a couple of years now. But it doesn't matter. Blowing up the baddies and seeing the beautiful spooky graphics and spacecraft keeps me going back again and again to this one.

Even today, its one of the best shoot em ups on the market.
