The Map Room. HELP!

[Post New]by mcbabs221 on Oct 6, 08 2:38 PM
I need help getting out of the room with the map and books. I realize the books tell you where to go on the stupid map, but nothing happens when I click on the coordinates. HELP! Is there a way of skipping this one?

Did you put that thing that looks like a pin into the machine because it's really a lever? That's why I was stuck with that one. If that's not it make sure you pay attention to the positive and negative of the numbers.

Thanks, but yeah I found everything. What's supposed to happen when you click on the numbers? Do you click on one then the other? Or do you somehow do both at once? Is there any way to skip this stupid level??????

this is what I posted in the Library thread--- Remember these are map coordinates ... you are looking for one point only ... where the map coordinates join ... and that is where you click.
.
MAP COORDINATES
...
In the library click on the books the letters you got from the TV. Two sets of numbers will appear. The number on the left is longitude and the second numer is lattitude. Click on the table. The map will appear. Use your coordinates from the books and look for it on the map.
...Make sure that the number that appears on the left is either positive or negative. If it's negative it's WEST. If it's positive, it's EAST.
...Greenwich England is equal to position 0, 0
...
...The first number given is longitude. The second number is latitude. It determines distance from the equator -- N for North of the equator, and S for south. So in order to find (-92, 22S) for example, move your mouse to (0, 0) which would be along the equator below England on the map, then move west (for the negative first number) until you hit -92, then down (for South) until you hit (-92, 22S.)

Hope this helps.

Rae, you're in the wrong forum. Go to Azada Ancient Magic. That question has a lot of discussion so you should find the answer in the thread for that book. good luck
