Great sequel!! I'm not the fastest so got a lot of gaming for 6.99...took me a little over 7 hours to finish. Thought some of the puzzles were a little tough...not your typical run of the mill mini's. Graphics were great! My only complaint might possibly be that you had to clear the monologue before you could access the inventory but I finally got a system going with that. Great game and in my opinion, very much worth the money! WTG BF!

Sad that it's done. I even miss my "doh!" moments at some of the puzzles. I'm hoping for a third Serpent of Isis, or a game by the same team (including a three-headed squirrel, according to the credits. I won't ask.)

The graphics and cut-scenes in chapter 7 were a joy, by the way. A nice extra in a reasonably priced game.

I loved the first one, still play it,but I really dislike this one, it just doesn't do it for me and I was so excited when I saw it !! Don't buy CE's(waiting patiently for the new Dark Parables SE) and on limited budget so was hoping this was my game for the month, there haven't been many to catch my eye lately. How do some people fill up loads of cards,do they buy games from all genres? and have bottomless purses lol ?

I mentioned a few pages ago that I was enjoying this game, as I did the first one. I have played it a few hours in the evenings and still glad that I purchased. Have one comment/complaint however. The developer should really improve on the dialogue portion of the game. There is just way to much clicking to get through each and every sentence. It takes away from the gameplay. If I was playing the game in one sitting I would imagine that I would get pretty irritated having to click once, twice, thrice to get back to gameplay each time Robert has to comment on something.

Other than that, good game, about 3 and a half out of 5. OK, think I'm done now

The graphics are lovely. The gameplay is IHOG with HOG and minigames. The minigames are skippable with a penalty of 20 minutes to your final time. I finished the developer demo in well under an hour. You can get all the way to the start of the third chapter. The storyline is wonderful. This is a wonderful sequel to the first game.

This game is an A.

Played first one on Pc - this one's on my Mac - always check comments in PC section. Now - play first one on PC lots - love the sound of the train - thought it so well designed & tricky but possibly because then new to Fishgaming and had to get daughter's help - this one whilst all PC replies are positive and I agree absolutely with graphics, good story etc but compared with the first one - much much easier - in fact - haven't finished hour - can't go on waiting for excitement - think man a villain in Raymond Chandler novel or that Broadwalk thingymy on TV in NZ - I WANT THE TRAIN!

OK, I am enjoying this game much more than the first one, which I did buy way back when? This one has better graphics & more to do. I bought htis one too. I was surprised when playing this game becasue I the first one was boring to me & like "old" like to me. I do recommend this game.

The first part was a hog, this part is a interactive ihog. I personally liked the first part a little bit more, but I want to know how the story continues - its a buy for me

I really enjoyed this sequel to The Serpent of Isis. All the scenes were mostly clear, the storyline made sense and the puzzles weren't overly difficult (though I did skip a couple). I could work my way through most everything without resorting to the walkthrough.

I had fun and was very happy I bought it.

Wow! I know I already made a comment on this game but I am really enjoying this. The length of game play is very long!! The chapters are long & there is a total of 7. This is way better than the first one.

Both games are great but one thing that was missing was instruction on how to play the mini puzzles. Still a bit dark for me. I have glasses and a large screen put need to put my nose up some areas to see them.

goofyduck77 wrote:Wow, two great iHogs in one week - excellent. This is a continuing story of the search for the Serpent of Isis by Robert via instructions from his grandfather. In the sample, the story is interesting and makes sense even though there are constant pop-ups of dialogue by the main character but you can click through them (and have to get rid of them to continue with whatever you are trying to do), with the character popping up when there is dialogue. The main menu has a “How to Play” which I found nice so you don’t have constant pop-ups telling you what everything is and what to do with it, although you can opt to use a tutorial if you want to.

Options include the standards as well as “Show Help” and “System Cursor”. The graphics are excellent in almost all the scenes, although some of the background areas are a bit fuzzy. The music was a bit overpowering so I turned it down a bit, but it was fitting to the game. There is a choice between casual and advanced modes, the difference being what is becoming a standard, casual having more twinkles and less recharge time for hints and skips. The intro and character is in cartoon fashion but it is well-done. It has a time-keeper which indicates how long you have played, although there are time penalties during the game for skipping puzzles, etc.

There is a map which is very helpful. You can click on locations from the map, and it indicates locations where there is something you need to do. It also contains each chapter. There is also a task window which shows you what you need to do. I had just entered Chapter 2 when the sample ended. I checked for a walkthrough but couldn’t find it. I didn’t wear out my sneakers, but if the game is long, I might need just one more pair.

The hidden object scenes are clear and well-defined, and I am rating them a 3 to 7 on my scale because some scenes are quite easy and some scenes are a bit more difficult, although I didn’t find anything so small I couldn’t see it. It starts you out with one hint - but don’t panic - because you can pick up “special items” which give you extra hints - to a maximum of 5 I think - and when you run out, it recharges at one minute. There is a multiple click penalty where the cursor turns into a swirl for about 2 seconds and the screen darkens a bit. There are a few tricky things to the scenes which require you to perform some traveling and interactive tasks to complete the scenes - I almost got stuck figuring that one out. Lol

The mini-puzzles are a mix of tricky and easy. And sometimes you have to find pieces first to solve the puzzle. The skip appears after about a minute and if you choose to skip it, it will add time (I think it was 20 minutes) to your overall time for the game.. The cursor itself doesn’t swirl.

It is a good game, well, a great game in my book, especially if you like hogs. It has lots of hog scenes. I played the first game in the series, and liked it, but can’t remember it all that well, so whether this one exceeds that one in the way of graphics, game play, and interaction, I don’t know. I will leave it to somebody else to comment on that aspect of it. IHog lovers need to play the sample and then buy it if you like all the aspects of this quite well-done game.

Ik give this game 8 of 10.

Definitely well worth the money - over five hours of gameplay, lots of interactive bits, excellent hidden object scenes (some of which were wicked!) and nice graphics.

A worthy sequel.

Well... I am exhausted (mentally) LOL Played the game over 2 days - all in all about 5 hours, and it was really fun.

A couple of things that I didn´t like were:

1) You always had to first click on the text to make it disappear so that you could continue with whatever you were doing.

2) The inventory was very awkward. It should have been at the bottom next to the suitcase, and it should have stayed open until you click on it. I had to keep opening it up when, for example, I had to look at a picture several times for a code, etc.

3) I am so used to seeing arrows pointing at the different exits you can take, that I kept thinking I was stuck when none showed. Instead I just had to click at different parts of the screen to see whether I was able to leave that way.

Apart from those three things, I had no complaints.

I enjoyed this game so much. Is even better than the first game which I had played like a gazillion times. Please developer don't wait so long for the next version. Thank you BFG and yes this was a looong game for me at least. I liked everything about it. A definite bargain at $6.99.
