Yes this is what I call a Realy Good Game, great value. some games have time value but no challenge some are quick but challenge. This one is like RTR time value and challenge, Love it I am up to Chapter 18 of 40 and had 5 hours value so far, not rushing, stopped and came back, but got through all puzzles so far. Love it.

Funny story with this game. I was playing it plus having my own personal HO adventure. While on an Ambien trip (I tend to do many things while on Ambien before I fall asleep) I managed to toss my pain medicine somewhere. I did NOT remember where! I would tear the house apart looking in places such as the trash, the refrigerator, under the bed, etc, then I would get mad and give up awhile, playing Lost in the City, then go search some more. I kept hearing the music from Lost in the City in my head as I searched the house. I felt like I was living my own HO game! I had plenty of search tactics from playing games and from having 'lost' my medicine before.
BUT, hubby found my bottle. (In a place we had both looked several times before - just not under the junk pile) SO, all is well there.
Just thought I'd share that for a good chuckle.

I have not had a problem with any other games and sound. This is a new problem for me.

That said, it played find with the sound muted. I am just not sure how much creepy abandoned city atmosphere I am missing.

Just finished the game, definitely going to play it through again soon (if only to try and unlock all the secrets ).

Here's hoping for a Lost in the City 2 - whoever the storywriters were (didn't check the credits), they've got quite an imagination.

You really should check the credits, there's a 50,000 point bonus for reading through them to the end!!!
