I think there was one very close to the book.

I have a game club credit burning a hole in my pocket and I'm torn between this and the new Azada. I played the Azada II demo and it really seemed way too easy. Does it get harder toward the end and is it as short as the first one? I'm about 35 minutes into the Murder demo and I just finished the safe. I'm not sure how far along that is, but I hope there's much more to come. So, whaddya think? Azada II or Murder?

Thank you, thank you, Prpldva! Your hint totally helped and it only took me two more tries before I finished the puzzle with the balls in the cross.

How about the puzzle with the mirrors and the lights? Anybody figured that one out? I skipped that one (again) on my second time through the game, but I didn't run out of time, so that's okay.

Any help would be appreciated, though. I hate leaving these things "unfinished"!

Thanks again, Prpldva!

Poodlebear wrote:Just finished this one up, about 3 maybe 3.5 hours in my relaxed gaming style. I skipped one mini-game but not before spending a little time playing it. I LOVE that the mini-games are not timed and that nearly every type is represented except for the roll the ball from obstacle to obstacle to get it out the hole one Not sure if those have a name. Anyway, this one was just right for me, pacing, puzzles, story. Of course would still have prefered a timer optional, but at least the timers were generous and this likely kept me from skipping any puzzles.

More, please.

Can someone tell me how to move the bar to put numbers in skeleton after giving knight the sword reeeeeeeeeeeeally stuck

I have finished this game, enjoyed it a lot - although I did find some of the objects very hard to find being too small or blended in too well. Enjoyed the mini games but skipped Soduku, Cemetry Cross puzzle and the coloured lights. All in all good fun

This on, again, took some thinking- I think that I had to have the green? beam go thru the red spot before getting to the green spot. Sorry not a good explanation.

Ok- correct me- it's the puzzle with the gold bars with numbers?

On the first bar to the left try each number until it stays. Move to the next one-try number one. If it stays, move to the third bar. If it doesnt, go back to the first bar and start over. Keep track of what number you need. \

I don't know if this is a random puzzle. I think the first two numbers were 2,2

I downloaded the demo and when time ran out had to buy. Mystery Chronicles: Murder Among Friends is fun. I like the graphics and puzzles in between HO's. I also like the journal where you can go back and read the monologue if it went by too fast. WTG BF

Donick- congrats on being a great-grandmother!!

The puzzle with the skull and the 5 bars numbered 1-4 is random, therefore you will have to figure it out or skip it. Here is how to solve.

1- move the left most bar until it stays in place. You may have to try this a few times until you use the correct number.. Write that number down.

2- move the second bar to one. If the first bar moved, go back and put it on the correct number. Try the second bar on number 2. Repeat this process until both the 1st and second bar stay put.

3- Continue this process with the 3rd and 4th bar. I know- it's very tedious and annoying.

Let me know how you do!

This game is made by the people that did The Count of Monte Cristo. It has many of the very same objects to look for, also has the same sound effects. Mini games and story are the only difference.
