cages on the stage

I'm stuck here - I'm in the projector room at the control panel and I've done what what "my friend" said, but where are the trap doors? Are they visible on stage or do they show up elsewhere? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any input.

You have to open the trap doors and then raise the cages a little off the floor and then you will be able to see the trap doors!

I've tried that and still i don't see any trap doors. What am I doing wrong?

Before you can see the trap doors, you have to go down in the cages, look through the peep hole in the wall and see Maya. Then you should look down and see the trap doors.
