The flame ones were easy. Look before you start clicking. The instructions say clicking on a lamp will extinguish it and all adjacent lamps. Neither puzzle should require more than 5 or 6 clicks. I usually have trouble with this type of puzzle, but this one was made in such a way that you just do it group by group. Wish I could explain it better... Hope it helps!

Hi purplehaze,

Sorry this is my first time seeing your post, otherwise I would have answered sooner.

I really wish I could help you but I have not played this game and I am in the middle of 2 projects otherwise I would play it to get you an answer.

Hopefully someone will come along and help you shortly.

Margie B

Purp I just posted this in another thread...

Hi val,

What I did was start at the bottom and worked the flames up till I had only the top two corners lit with the flame to the side and below lit also. Then I clicked on the 2 corner flames. It really is trial and error. You can do it!

Good-luck

And for some reason the second one was much easier.

I am sure on one of them (i think it was the first) that what I did was get a kind of T shape lit in the middle of the first and last vertical rows. So I only then needed to do was click on the middle torch in those two rows to then extinguish all the torches. It was something like this:

o o o
o o o
o o o
o o o
o o o
o o o
o o o

I then clicked on the third one down in the first vertical row to get:

o o o
o o o
o o o
o o o
o o o
o o o
o o o

Then the fifth one down to get:

o o o
o o o
o o o
o o o
o o o
o o o
o o o

Then clicked on the fourth one down to extinguish all the torches on that side and then did the same on the other side.

Doing this from memory so it may be a bit different or maybe the torches that are lit are random and not a set pattern for everyone.

Solution of Lights Out (Classic):

Number the rows 1-5, the columns A-E.

a. For each light on row 1, press the button beneath it on row 2 to turn the light off. This way row 1 is completely unlit.
b. Repeat step a. for rows 2-4, so that now you only have lights on row 5. This is usually called 'chasing the lights'.
c. If the light at A5 is on, press D1 and E1.
If the light at B5 is on, press B1 and E1.
If the light at C5 is on, press D1.
d. Repeat steps a-b, chasing the lights down and it will be magically solved.

This method will not solve the puzzle in the shortest possible way, but it is very simple.

You need to do the symbols in the order that they appear in under the torches. So, if the moon is the 1st symbol then find the scroll with the moon symbol and get the torches on the screen to match the ones on the scroll.

I couldn't work out what I was doing wrong until finally it clicked that it would only accept the torch pattern if it belonged to the next symbol.

Hey purplehaze, sorry I was not able to help you but I'm glad to see that the community rallied together and helped you get through it. Kudos to all the fishies
