Cube Painting problem

[Post New]by peanutrootsgal on Feb 20, 10 1:15 PM
In Edvin's parents apt. I viewed the painting on the balcony, then tried to match the cubes in closet of guest room to the painting. Everything worked out fine, except there was no padlock on the front left cube, as shown in the balcony painting. I tried this several times, and made sure I picked up the thread in the master bedroom prior to this also. No padlock showing on the cube keeps it from opening, hence no magnetic stripe card, and I am stopped from further play. Help please! thanks.

When you look at the paiting on the patio, note that two squares are white and then theres a green one with a lock.

On the box itself press the two squares to turn them white and change any that shouldn't white back to the other color. Once you've done that press the green square that had a lock on it in the diagram. You won't see a lock on the box, you just have to press that square.

My daughter is having issues also. I was able to finish the puzzle but she can't. She has reinstalled the game. Not sure what is going on

After I set up the cubes as in the clue, I had to turn away from the box and then back again, click on the cube with the padlock shown in the clue, and it opened. May be a software glitch but keep trying and it will probably work.

But how did you open the patio door?

Hiya Tennie_Frog! Welcome to the forums!

After Edvin's father calls and you return to their apartment:

* Select the note on the table.

* Edvin's father has left half a bottle of wine for you.

* Exit the note and walk forward.

* Turn to the right and walk forward twice.

* Turn right again and open the cupboard.

* Take the KEY FROM CUPBOARD.

* Exit the cupboard and turn left.

* Use the key to open the balcony door.

I hope this helps.
