Jigsaw World

[Post New]by sandipuppy on Oct 9, 08 10:40 AM
I'm a big jigsaw fan so was immensely pleased to see this one pop up.

Downloaded the trial and was even more pleased to see all of the options. You can change the background colours(yes I'm Canadian), pick the number of pieces (anywhere from a simple 12 pieces to over 1000 pieces), rotate on or off option, lots of beautiful photos in different categories, and a save feature.

All in all a great way to pass the time when you just need to relax without really exercising your brain.

Definitely on my "buy" list...just waiting to see if it's added to the Octoberfest promotion.

Glad you enjoyed this one. While I like the occasional jigsaw puzzle, I don't want a full game of them. Glad BFG tries to provide such a wide variety of games so we can all find enjoyment here.

I've downloaded the game but haven't tried it yet. I love doing jigsaw puzzles. But here at home, it's difficult with kitties doing their slip 'n' slide action across the table. We have more puzzles in this house with 999 pieces or 749 pieces. I write on the box top now our closest guesstimation to the amount of pieces left to the puzzle.

But, with online jigsaw puzzles... no kittie action to destroy it!

Ain't that the truth Smallhaven!! Kitties and jigsaw puzzles do not go together well at all.

Cesse, at one time I didn't think I'd ever own a jigsaw puzzle game either...but the benefits are many. I also play jigsaws at a couple of sites and find them too small...owning the game here I can play them full screen, so much easier on the eyes, I can sit back all comfy and relax instead of having to crane forward to see the pieces!!

What a change of pace this "game" will bring. You can work at it at your leisure. I bought it last night after it came out. Lots of beautiful puzzle pictures to work on.

I was immensely glad to see this one too sandipuppy. I am a huge fan of jigsaw puzzles of any kind. I saw this today and just knew I had to not just download the trial period but, actually buy it. Thanks for your review.

I own a lot of the other jigsaw puzzle games and will definitely add this to my collection.

Thank you, Thank you

Kitties are not the only ones to give you problems when doing jigsaws at home are just as much trouble with their big fluffy tails and even more so if they are ones that are natural vacuum cleaners!!!
I hope adds this to Octoberfest too. I want a mug please.

Wow. I didn't realize jigsaw puzzles were that popular. Happy to see BF putting out something for everyone. Personally, I fell asleep just watching the little video.

Have fun!

Ok, just downloaded Jigsaw World.

Beatuiful pictures and a nice selection. The only option that is missing is the ability to seperate the edges from the other pieces. I found this option in many other downloadable jigsaw puzzles and it was immencely helpful. So if there would be a sequel to this one BFG, please add that option. It is just too crowded to try to seperate them on the working field.

Another option would be the ability to add more pictures, either personal downloads or from addons developed by bfg.

I sure hope you are watching bfg. heehee

Thank you for adding this to the list of great games.

You can separate the edges from the other pieces...it's one of the buttons at the bottom...it's the one between the magnifying glass and the question mark...it says "bound" when you hover over it...don't ask me why...

Thank you sandipuppy for the info. I didn't check out that icon when I was playing earlier. Kind of a wierd term to use. Thanks again.

Yup Love this one I like having puzzles to do when I just want to relax and like a lot of you my sweet kitty refuses to give me a moments peace if I try doing puzzles on a table so being able to do them online is awesome! Also I have a dear friend that loves doing these also so I bought the CD along with the downloaded version to give to her for Christmas so Yup I was happy LOL.

I too am a big fan of jigsaw puzzles, and this was an immediate buy for me at the 6.99 option once the free trial was over. However, the largest I've been able to get any puzzle is 690 pieces, is there an option I've overlooked? My preference is to do puzzles with the highest number of pieces possible so if I can get another 310+ pieces, I'd love to do so.
