game error

I just downloaded this game becuase of the the "2 free games" with my game space, anyway, I can only play to leve 1-5 and then the game stops working and gives me a bunch of weird error messages. Any one else have this problem? I email customer support and hopefully they'll have an answer, i will post it here when I get a response.

sorry, didn't have any problems with the game. Tech support is great...I'm sure they'll do all they can to help you.

I just ordered it and it stops after I finish the first level and gives me crazy errors also. I think it is becasue I am runnung Vista. I have sent for an answer to the problem and hope to get back an answer soon. Will let you know it I am right.

I get the same error upon reaching level 5. Please advise what to do.

I also can't get past 1-5 then I get the "error" message. Would appreciate any ideas anyone can give me. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, still get the same message. thanks!

This was one of the first games I got from BFG and it was fine...until I installed Vista. Now I can't get past the first few levels either. Must be a Vista interface problem. Is there a fix available? I like this game and would like to play it again.

Playing in Vista I get <void> object errors too. Just got this and thought it was fun. Hope they fix it soon.

Having the same problems. I did go to the tech support page and tried all the solutions offered there.

I keep gettin a <director error> message after finishing level one and I can't get into the next level it will only let me play the "Hawaii" level of this game. It doesn't save what I have done already. I would like my money back. This is the third game I've gotten from BFG that has glitches in it and I am really frustrated! I have a top of the line system with current drivers so I don't know what to do to get these games to play.

I am having the same problems; void messages, and it doesn't save what is already played. Getting tired of starting from the beginning all the time. Am disappointed in this game. I also have Vista, but do not have trouble with any other games.

I also have the same problem,I cannot get beyond 1-5 because of an error message. In the system requirements it is supposed to be compatible with Vista. I will contact Tech Support.

I've just tried their free hour and had been having trouble at level 1-5 also and figured I had better check it out before I bought it. Thanks, you've saved me some grief. I've also been having trouble with some of their other games since the latest Vista download. It is very frustrating since I too had bought the bigger system just so I could play some of these games. Even some of my old games that used to work just fine are now acting up. Hopefully we don't have to give up on Big Fish.

I don't think this problem is as rare as they say. I bought this some time ago (when I was not yet a member of BFG's club) and have this same problem. I wrote tec support several times, and was ignored. The experience kept me away from BFG for some time. Originally this occurred on a different computer than I am running now, and that machine was running XP. I'm still having the problem dispite repeated uninstalls, re-downloads, and reinstalls. I'm currently running Vista. The only common feature between the two units, is that they are both 64 bit systems. I have a ton of games and this is the only one I have problems with.

I get the same message, then it closes down sometimes

Every since I down-loaded this game it's the same thing that I get, Director's error. Script error. Then after mannnnyyyy attempts to close it closes and I have to re-start that level.

So if you do get a reply I'd loved to hear what CS said.

yes i just downloaded the game and the same thing i goin on with my game and thank u please post the response so i will know what to do about it

Pretty much annoyed. It's not related to Vista as I downloaded it to our laptop running XP and get the same error message and the same not saving problem. I like BigFish but they could at least have the decency to remove the game. Solution: don't download or uninstall if you already have downloaded it. BigFish should be giving credits to people who already have it. I got it as part of the two free games as well and I noticed that one of the other free games Top Ten Solitaire also has an issue in that it won't connect to the server to update scores and so the game never starts. So that's what they do with games that don't work - give them away free. Not good BF.
