Making words up that don't exist!

Is it me, or when you are dominating this game on the higher levels, does it start to make words up that actually don't exist? Or do you suddenly find yourself with games in which you never get any decent letters, say all consonents, whilst the computer has a lovely mix?
OK, I expect the game to get harder, with the computer coming up with good moves and better words, but NOT to cheat!
Also, the "offensive word" filter is pathetic and patronising. Since when are words like "puff" offensive? It's a word!! Plus, swear words ARE words that are in the Oxford ENGLISH dictionary. Could the makers be any more patronising and condescending?
OK, children may play this game. But if you know a swear word exists, you can't "learn" this "new" word as it isn't new to you. If you don't know the word exists, you can't know the word in order to put it in!
Besides, any child can open a dictionary and go straight to the rude words - as we ALL did as children and young adults.
What do the game makers want? Censoring of dictionaries as well?

Just a little gripe that turned into a rant!

What annoys me even more is when the dictionary refuses a word tat I know is a real word but I haven't come across a word that isn't real but maybe that is because I don't play above level 5. I know I am a wuss.

I have the same problem with text-twist. It will accept a word one round and the next it says it isn't a word!!! Say what??? LOL


Get this. I was playing last night and B@@bies was a word in their list LOL. I know a b@@b is some type of bird or something, but I thought it was hilarious LOL. I agree, Some of these games cheat and invent words LOL

absolutely this game is questionable. I am an avid high scoring scrabble player and I am being told by encarta dictionary that I can not have words that are internationally accepted scrabble words, even simple things like 'maids' which is not an apostrophied word and is totally legal. This always happens when I am taking the lead in levels 5+........and yes, I too seem to get the poor supply of letters to work with and have had 'Qu' every game since I started playing.
