Error Message "Access Violation"

[Post New]by goldenmish on Oct 13, 08 1:39 AM
3 times i have had to start this game ......Access Violation error message seems to appear same place.... after i pull down the golden head (Tutenkahmen?) and place into the "space" ... have to close the game down and when you reopen it you are either given the vacant Tutenkahmen space, without the golden head or it opens to the scene behind the Tutenkahmen space, but without any implements - no movement is allowable,,, no exit,,,,, etc.

Anyone else......any hints................

I am enjoying the game....but becoming frustrated and questionning my purchase!!!

Over to the powers that be!!

P.S. not always the same area in the game...but seems to be the same screen shot.

goldenmish, I'm so sorry you're having this problem. I recommend you run and save your dxdiag file. Send an email to Tech Support and attach your dxdiag file.
...Good Luck

I would try the uninstall and redownload to see if that fixes the problem. But if you have the same problem in the new download, I'd recommend you contact Tech Support. If you go to ?Help - see upper right corner - you can search for dxdiag and it will take you to a help screen that will tell you how to run the file. Good Luck

In addition to what cesse47 recommends, I'd also like to point out that we have a fantastic article on our help pages that could help as well. It's written to address errors exactly like your own:

Access Violation

Thanks for coming to the forums!
