please help

I have gone throw the game twice now, and when I finish chapter 6 and onto chapter 7, there is nothing to do in chapter 7, but when I finish the game and go back into the game, it is like I am starting again, but I have got my gold stuff and collection stuff, but when I start again, I cart shoot the boars, but in the trophy room it shows I got gold. anyone know why??
