Help! Collecting Stained glass, swords, helmuts, shields

I have made a mistake I can't seem to get around. I am in the room with the statues in Barcelona. I got the pedastals to rise, then found I had to collect the stained glass, swords, shields and helmuts. I got all I could but the pieces in the open space between the two statues. With the pedestals raised, I can't get behind them to collect the last sword, shields and stained glass. I did quit the game and came back in, but puts me at the same place. I can't seem to drop the pedestals back down. Any way around this? I did check the walkthrough but it does not tell me how to fix without getting the last items.

There is nothing in between the two statues. To the left is a crate to look inside and a loose brick on the wall and to the right is another brick and a niche.

# Move the loose brick on the left wall and take the HELMET.

# Look at the crate and take the SHIELD, SWORD, and STAINED GLASS SHARD.

# Look at the close-up of the right corner and move the loose brick.
