snowshoes in lou's room

i reset my clock fixed breakfast went to look at note but when i get to lou's room there are no snowshoes . i keep restarting the game thinking i missed astep but i don't one of the times i did get the snowshoes in the room there was no interaction with them so i couldn't get chantel to say anything about calling tino so he could give me the investigation paper. please help?

You need the snowshoes from the display- tino has the code

Please help me how do i get wolf key or wolf disk because it says i need the geiger counter, the only geiger counter i have is the red steel with a number on it and its not working please help me how to get the wolf disk.
