If you are having problems getting the game to work correctly, we highly recommend going to our Help pages. Using our Help pages is always the quickest way to get technical problems resolved. Here are a few suggested articles that have helped many people correct these types of problems in the past:

Maze: The Broken Tower will not run.

Downloaded game and it opens and then closed. Uninstalled it, cleaned out computer of junk, restarted computer, downloaded game and same thing - it just opens and closes. Please advise!

I'm sorry to hear that the game has been closing whenever you go to open it. It sounds like the game may be crashing, and to address this I suggest taking a look at the following help article. The steps it contains can be particularly useful in situations like this:

I'm hoping someone has the answer to this--
I just downloaded the game, & when it starts it seems to play, but I'm getting this error

[shaders] blur_h.cg : error C6001: Temporary register limit of 12 exceeded; 15 registers needed to compile program

Then a second error message all the same except with blur_v.cg

I have a PC Windows 10, and I did a system cleanup, including temp files, but still get the error message. I'm holding off playing the game til I can fix it, I don't want to lose it half way thru.

Edit: ugh! for some reason it shows a gold coin? in place of what I wrote. That part of the code is a zero in parentheses.

I purchased this game and activated. I played twice now and the game ends with thanks for playing the Demo Game after a failed attempt to rescue Ted in compliance test (2 or 3).

Certainly I don't need to purchase the CE to play an entire game?

Is there something I need to do differently?

I played the demo with no problems and finished before the time ran out, I still had about 30 minutes left and started the game with a new profile but now it glitches. Some areas don't show and the sound has now gone out. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling, I now get only a black screen when I click on "play" from the game manager. I'd wanted to take advantage of today's 65% off sale but now I won't. I enjoyed what I played with the first profile but now it's become unstable. I will wait for a fix before I decide to purchase this one. What a shame.

I am playing on a Lenovo laptop running Windows 10.
