All teeth, no mouth...

[Post New]by Jacklad on Nov 7, 07 6:35 PM
OK, I've done the four peg puzzles in the contortionist's crystal ball puzzle, and I have the four gold teeth.

Now, I've read that a mouth should appear for me to place the teeth into, but that's just not happening. Bug? Or am I missing something?

Wish I knew, hun; I've got the same problem.

I'm having the same issue. I can even send a screen shot, if necessary. I noticed in the tips thread that there are many people with this issue. Can someone from the BFG staff look at this issue?

This problem has been looked into, but has yet to reproduce on one of our machines. Until we get a solid reproduction all I can suggest is making sure you completed all four peg puzzles. You should have four gold teeth at the bottom of the screen that can be moved into a mouth that will appear on the screen.

I'd done all of that (the four peg puzzles) and have four gold teeth just lying there. The teeth aren't 'active' or anything. I can't pick them up or move them around and there is no mouth. The center of the screen where the peg puzzles were is just empty.

I'd be happy to send a screenshot if you would like it. Also, is there any information we can provide that might help you reproduce it?

I wish there was something specific I could ask you for! I've been working on this game for quite awhile now and have yet to see this problem. One thing I might suggest is making sure you have the latest version of the game. Do this by un-installing the game, then re-downloading/re-installing the game directly from the site. Don't worry, you won't lose your saves.

Has there been a new build since the 7th (of November)? That's when I downloaded and installed it (directly from Big Fish Games).

I'll keep you informed of new builds. We're testing one as we speak...more info to come.

I've played through the game twice now. The first time I didn't have a problem, and the second I did. I'm pretty sure I did everything the same way the second time around; I ended up just skipping the puzzle and moving on to the next segment.

If I knew of any differences that might help, flounder, I'd certainly share them. Good luck.

If you haven't done so, uninstall your current version of Madame Fate , then go to www.bigfishgames.com and click on the link for Madame Fate to download the latest version. This version has fixed several issues with the game that were halting play. And don't worry...you won't lose your save!
