Big City Games not opening

Do Big City Adventure Games work on Windows 10?

Not for me and not for my mom who lives halfway across the country from me.

Ever since Windows 10 release, our Big City games (of which we both own almost every one) won't open in full screen. We can only play in windows mode which makes it very difficult to find items.

The games opened perfectly in previous Windows releases (8,7,XP etc).

Is anyone else getting this error message?
Access violation at 0x5B83D5DD
(tried to read from 0x0000002C), program terminated.

Like everyone else, this game worked well on all previous versions of Windows.
