phone book

my game quit working at this point....cant access it

When I click on the book in the inventory something opens, but I can't see it.
Can't go on from there ...

Same thing. have closed the game and retried but still nothing. Hint points to phonebook also.

have progressed. went back outside and clicked on the phone book. nothing showed, but by clicking around the screen the cursor turned to a hand and I clicked. it then returned to the inventory bar at the bottom without the + sign. went back inside and gave book to the old woman. worked from there.

Yep worked. Good thing we have the forums!

Click the hint button after the "invisible" phone book appears. Then aim your mouse there, in the vicinity of the hint glow, then you will blindly discover the phone number. Then you can go inside the trailer to speak with lady inside. The hint button in this rare instance is really a game saver that eliminates the need for "fixes and tech support" not to mention the inability to finish the game.
