What type of game is Venice Mystery?

[Post New]by laurah65 on Oct 16, 08 3:07 PM
I never heard of this game and I travel back and forth to BFG and this is the first time that I have heard about it. I do not believe that it is a hidden object game because I catch all the hidden object as soon as they are toss in BFG. The little fish be there to get the bait.

Venice Mystery is a matching game. It has gorgeous graphics. Another player recommended it to me and I tried the demo. I did enjoy it and will be purchasing it as part of my Octoberfest purchases. Normally, I buy only the hidden object and puzzle games ... but this one I'll buy because I did enjoy it. I was told that it gets more difficult as you add levels. You might want to try the demo. Happy Gaming

This is nifty....it's not your Grandma's mahjohng. It's listed under that category but tho it uses "tiles" like mahjong does, it's really nothing like it. You can match ginormous combos of tiles from a dock of them & dig out all the bonuses, power-ups, & keys & it tells you cheerleading things like "super", "great", "awesome", "fantastic" depending on how ginormous your combo was. It's always nice to get positive feedback LOL Every so many levels you fiddle around putting painting pieces in (you're solving a code to keep poor Venice from sinking & drowning) & the clock tower bits are tough. But it's an interesting game & I was amazed when the demo ended, I couldn't believe I played a not-HOG for an hr straight & it felt like 10 min.

My "I want this" list gets longer by the min here.....TYVM
