sending food to correct location

Often when I try to move an entrée it will go directly to the wrapper even though I may be trying to send it to cheese. Sometimes if I click again to move it back to cheese (just an example) it will do so. Other times it gets sent to garbage What am I missing or doing wrong. Enjoying the game but obviously have a hard time controlling where my food goes Please help Thanks
