I'm in coffin room and hint keeps directing me to worktable, but no moves are available. Can't go further.

Trying to complete the cannon HOS. Collected everything required except for one item which doesn't seem to want to go anywhere. When I hit "hint" it tells me to exit the HOS but when I hit "hint" again, it tells me to return to the HOS. Not able to use any of my inventory items in this HOS either like you can in some games.

Not sure if this is a tech glitch or am I just missing something...can't seem to progress any further until I finish whatever it is I'm suppose to do. I've found two chair legs and an assortment of wood. Any suggestions?

I am using a PC with Microsoft 10 operating system. Early in the game I got stuck and the 'Hint' wasn't helping much, so I went to options and unclicked full screen to minimise it so I could get a walkthrough via search engine. I got what I needed but when I went back to get the full screen again I found that the cursor wouldn't work. I eventually uninstalled the game, restarted my PC then downloaded and installed the game again. This time the initial screen was still minimised and the cursor was still not working and also, although I could hear the music, the screen was completely black. I have used this method before with other games without problem although on a few of the games that I have I have had the same problem. The thing is you don't know which games are ok to untick the full screen and which are not until it is too late. I would be extremely grateful for any help or advice you may give me. Thanks
