Trouble with anchor

I''m playing the demo and just put the miniature anchor on the model ship and gave it a tug and nothing happened, except the hull of the ship shimmered slightly, but nothing opened up as I suspect it's supposed to. Anybody else have trouble with this? When I hit the Hint button it just indicates the anchor.

I'm having the exact same issue! It just shimmers for a second as if it's going to open the trap door thing, but nothing happens.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having trouble with this! Just for the record, I've already put the figurehead in place, and the guide says I should be able to pull the anchor and get a tusk(?) from the ship, but it won't open up. I'm on a Mac running OS X 10.10.5.

Just keep tugging the anchor down. It took me a couple tries and then the door opened all the way.

Thanks for the tip Judithannegg - it worked! I had just been clicking on the anchor, but you actually have to click and DRAG DOWNWARDS. Hooray!
