To Neighbors of glca & Migutman & Suggestions for events

I know I should post this in upcoming absences, but I want to be doubly sure as many of our wonderful neighbors see it as possible.

Alas my busy season is finally over. For months we’ve been looking forward to our annual vacation so we could play RoM a bunch. We leave tomorrow (Sunday 30 April) for 3 weeks in Mexico, returning 21 May. There’s so much we haven’t done like the Valley and Hobbit Hut and Infrit. Mostly we looked forward to doing some events! We’ve been building up our spare energy and doing Mayan Runes to build up our crystals.

A few weeks ago the thought entered my mind; what if we can’t get the game to load using Mexican Wi-Fi? I’m so worried about that I could just scream. We started playing last August, after our last vacation, so I have no idea what is going to happen. I’m also stressed about not being able to gift. At the very least we’ll have travel days we won’t be able to. We haven’t missed gifting once since we started. And not be there to help our neighbor’s dragons is also mortifying to us!

We have the most wonderful neighbors! We don't want to let you down, please keep your fingers crossed for us!

So with some tweaks to the laptops & enabling some addons, we're up & running, yay! We're going to do Groundhogs Day; don't ask me why but I just really enjoyed that one. Plus once we get to the labyrinths, it's easy to feed dragons while doing other things such as getting our feet wet in the Valley of Magicians, Hobbit Hut & Infrit.

Obviously we'll see what comes up with the Thursday Event, but I'm looking for suggestions dear neighbors of events we could do. I remember hearing such nice comments about Monster's Ball we're thinking about that one. I just remember clm talking about how beautiful the room was

If you have time, would you kindly give us your favorites and why? We've read about so many my mind is cluttered! We figure everybody has their favorite event and I'm not trying to be lazy (tho we are on vacation LOL), but would love to hear your recommendations.

The is also the Masquerade Ball of Vampires.. no expedition on it either. This might be a good one to do. It has the pearls for your comps too!! And it is in the wiki. You can find it by going through the events page (it is on the second page), or even easier, you can just start typing masquerade and you can just select the page.

Help!! I am stranded!! Having issues loading game. Tech support is not being very helpful..in fact they may not be tech supprot because they asked for my creditcard info in order to help me. I have cleared my cache/cookies and history. I have made sure that my programs are up to date. I even changed my password . I can access my account and I can load other BF games but not " Rooms of Memory". Is this just me or is anyone else having issues? any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Cookiewitch, that was happening to a lot of people, it did with a lot of effort resolve itself eventually. I did cache clears, restart & downloaded latest flash player.
The issue was on all 3 browsers I tried. I'm not sure what eventually fixed it but keep plugging away. You should not have to use your credit card for anything though.

Our wonderful ISP really messed up & while John's Tourist Camp expedition was up we suddenly lost our internet. I've managed to use the hot spot on my phone to send this message but the forum is all I can get to load.

It will be Monday afternoon at the earliest before we have internet again. I hadn't even finished gifting for today (Saturday).

Please, please be patient with us. We'll be back as soon as we can. And those of you who helped John's expo dragon, we're sincerely sorry & regretful to have wasted your food. Actually, I'm pretty dang ticked off about it. We got all the apologies & yes-it's-our-faults I can take for one night. Almost 3 hours on the phone with them.

I had a similar experience at the end of August. I had no internet for several days because my provider had to send someone out here to replace a part in the box on the wall, and they were busy with other customers.

This was especially annoying for me, because I work on-line from home! I had to miss a whole day I'd been scheduled to work. :-(

I hope your experience is less frustrating!

Me too aurendel!!!!! I was able to hook up the hotspot on my phone to the laptop and do a quick mass gift. That’s the first time I’ve ever had to do that. It was sucking data so fast we could see the meter going down quickly!

Gabrielle, save your data for more important things! We can do without gifts for a couple days!
