This is an RPG that has had a lot of time and effort put into it. There is quite a complex crafting system, as well as augmentation.
I'm not sure how far I am through it, but I'm enjoying it.
However, I will say that the type of RPGs I really like are those that are quest based, especially with many optional quests. Echoes of Aetheria effectively has no quests, which is a shame.
It does have things it calls quests, but they are basically just locations to clear. Once you reach the other end and kill the boss, the "quest" is complete. So, I would say this is mainly of interest to those that like battling. Strategy is important and there are many different skills to select from.

So, although I personally prefer something like Aveyond 4, I'd definitely recommend anyone who likes RPGs to give it a go.

I love Skyborn. Echoes of Aetheria is a bit of a disappointment because there was nothing new. That said, music and graphics are still pretty good. I've always enjoyed the battles, which I think are the strength. The story isn't bad, but the writing makes it seem like a drag. It's the weakest part of the game.
Hate the main characters! Especially the sourpuss Ingrid, who doesn't seem to care about anything other than how the princess always looks better than she does. Wish there was a choice of relationships.

This game is brilliant!

So much thought and imagination. Puzzles to solve, loads of loot, excellent storyline and great graphics.

The characters evolve over time and I like them all now.

Funny, sad, frustrating, rewarding and most of all entertaining.
I've been playing for 3 days solid. Definitely value for money.

Absolutely love this game. Some RPG games are too short but this one is longer than any others I have played.
My favorite games are the RPG kind. I have grown tired of the Hidden Object, match 3 and the time management. Back to my first love of gaming now with RPG.
Unfortunately Big Fish does not carry a large selection of these games which means that I either have to wait for a year or more, or spend my money at another site to play them.
