Does any body know why video acceleration doesn't do anything?

Any body who wants to make this game better should write on this forum.

Video acceleration is a feature that helps some pcs be able to run the better but it can on other pcs not do anything or cause the game to run slower. For this game even a three year old pc can run it just fine so the option doesn't do anything.
