Mini game in Lab yard

There is a minigame where you spin the symbols trying to line them up a certain way. The one that opens up when you place the two fire symbols. Neither the instructions nor the SG are making sense to me.

Any help will be appreciated.

Just press the buttons in the order shown in the strategy guide. Reset the puzzle and press B-Cx2; Cx2-D-Ax2; C, just press those buttons. If you press anything else, the solution will not work.
