Sunnyvale Tour mode

[Post New]by lordkalvan on Oct 20, 08 1:47 PM
I just wanted to mention how much I appreciate the Sunnyvale Tour mode that is unlocked after you finish a game in career mode. Partly it's a case of "what the heck is THAT item anyway???", and partly because I'd rather skip all the sanding and painting and redecorating parts. It's even nicer because of all the extra star locations, so I always have enough stars when I'm down to the ones I can't find.

How did they come up with 240 minutes for the initial high score on tour mode? Is that the same for everybody, or was that based on how long it took me to finish career mode?

I haven't played this mode yet. Sounds interesting though. I'll have to get back to it......so many games to play.....so little time.

For those who haven't played tour mode, this lets you visit each scene once, and collect *all* possible items. You can't collect the ones that aren't listed yet (so no clicking the guitar unless "guitar" is showing on the list right now) but as you collect items new ones get added until all of them are finally out. All the various places that a star can be hidden have stars in them too; seems like about 5 or so per scene. This does not include the "find all the equations" or "find all the gold" searches, just the normal yard sale items. Still, that's 80-110 items per scene, not counting the stars.
