How different is this from the online one?

[Post New]by hilyer25 on Oct 21, 08 1:06 AM
I really like the online one in the game community. Since we can play that one free, I'm wondering what is different in this version?

I've played both and enjoyed (maybe not the word I'm looking for ) the download one more. The trophies and the extra powers make a huge difference. There are also a lot of different wild cards...and that dang gopher doesn't show up as much.

Lol I think it's cause you have no powerups and only one mulligan. I use the mulligan alot in some of the harder holes!

Actually I think it's easier once you play a few courses and earn enough cash to buy some of the 'Golf Shop' powerups. There's x-ray specs that let you see what the next flip card is, something that lets you get extra mulligans, watch that lets you have extra time on timed courses.... BUT...

I think the Wild Shot cards come up more often - but there's more/different effects (good and bad). And I like making fun of or cursing the 'announcers' that tell you your 7 card streak is 'What a shot!'

Still play the online/community version though (but boy do I want my x ray specs!)

I've played the online one a bit now and have played Mountain Springs about 10 times. I quit. I'm going back to the download version, it shouldn't be so blasted hard to pass this level, it's only the sixth (approximately) one.
