Ravenhearst whispers

[Post New]by Elkestra on Oct 21, 08 2:06 PM
Considered posting this initially in the Game Forum, but given the amount of MCF and specifically Ravenhearst discussion here currently, and the whispers... I thought I'd mention it here first.

A ) For those of you wondering, I just started Ravenhearst afresh (for the 3rd or so time), and I seem to be getting most of the whispers loud enough to understand (except when she whispers when i've just found an item - then the 'found' sound-effect overshadows things), so I thought in the next couple of days I'd re-restart it, and scribe down the phrases.

Just a few I've heard so far (though I'll be double-checking them):-

1) This is not my home.
2) Find the keys
3) Look for it
4) I'm trapped here [need to triple-check this one, I was distracted by the phone ringing]

B ) Does anyone else find the whole atmosphere of Ravenhearst reminiscent of being back playing Zork:Nemesis all those years ago? I so wish that would be re-made someday, or something like it, but the sound-effects are soooo familiar .

Anyway, just thought I'd see what people's views were - and see if you want me to scribe the whispers...

Yours always,

*fin waves*

I didn't play Zork - but I get all the sound-effects in Ravenhearst. It really adds to the game. I've played Ravenhearst at least 5 times if not more. It was one of my first games and I was processed with it...

I'd love it! My hearing is not great, although I did pick up this is not my home and I thought something like "how long......."
