I have a question, tried out different stews, the last one was one of each of the flowers and added food to the stew but it keeps telling me it is not finished is there something i'm missing or is there a way to empty the pot to start over

I finished the game too. This one is the stew for the Grand Feast. It is a puzzle and you need a lot of food (every of each type, 2 from food bin and a mushroom) for the Grand Feast.

How do I get them to make cloth?

If you've got level 2 science and built the cloth hut, drop someone at the base of the sheer cliffs and they will go get a cutting tool from the lab to cut some pulpy vines. Make a stew with the pulpy vines and sea water and take the stew to one of the flat rocks by the sea. Then drop villagers onto the pulp until it has been changed to cloth.

Not sure what you mean? Don't they just do laundry in the stream?

Have you changed the braid into rope by dropping a villager onto it? They will go and fix it with cloth.

I dont have a stream for them to do laundry,how do i get one?

First clear the river obstruction in the top right of the map, then drop a villager who is adept in both building and research on the boomerang-shaped stone that you will be able to find on the beach where the waterfall used to fall before you cleared the obstruction.

Hi how do i get food besides the blueberries?
Because after they haverst finish there is no food left.

There are two ways to get more food:

1 - get level 2 construction and then get your villagers to clear the fire pit by the palms with the yellow flowers. Then put 4 hot rocks in it and cover with banana leaves. Then they can start cooking the yellow fruit.

2 - get level 2 science and build the clothing hut. Then make a stew with the pulpy vines that grow on the cliff face and sea water and take the stew to the flat rocks by the sea. Keep dropping villagers on it to make cloth. Make at least 6 rolls of cloth. Then drop your builders on the broken piers by the sea so they will start fixing the fishing nets. Then they can get fish.

how do i catch a crab?

As soon as you see a crab, drop two children on it so they can distract it and it will slow down. Then drop an adult on it and they will pick it up. You have to be really quick to drop a child on the crab, though! You can try and pause the game and then dropping the child, but the game has been known to crash when you do that.

Question about the collectibles...sometimes when I drop my child on a fish scale or a wind flute part, the screen reads that the child has found a lab item and takes it to the scientists...I'm never gonna finish the fish or flutes at this rate ;o)

The collectibles will only go to your collections if they're new ones that you haven't found before. Any doubles will go to the scientists and will give you tech points. Finishing the collections is VERY hard, unfortunately.
