The graphics are really good, some of the board layouts are interesting, and there's a nice selection of creepy Raven themed card styles available, but that's about all this game has going for it. There's no mystery to this solitaire game, The Black Raven is just another cookie cutter version of all the other solitaire games by these guys. They never change a single thing, not one single feature is different, well, technically they change the title and the backgrounds. The main feature with these games, are that the game ends once you find all of the Gold cards, and it drives me bonkers! I'm way too OCD for this feature, I want to be able to remove ALL of the cards on the board to receive a perfect score, not just some of them! I will play a hand over and over until I achieve my goal of what I consider to be a perfect score.

If Solitaire games were mass produced on an assembly line, this is exactly what I imagine they would look like! In my opinion, this game is okay to play through the hour demo, but just not entertaining enough to entice me to buy it or waste a coupon on it.

While I wish somebody would make solitaire games other than golf and matching cards, this one is better than most due to the creepy graphics and excellent background music. This is the first solitaire game in ages whose music is so thoroughly enjoyable.

Wicked fun game . . . You can choose the "Newbie" level of play, which in turn allows you to replay layouts to achieve the highest score . . . Great music & graphics . . .
