I'be been playing Ricochet since the days of Ricochet Lost Worlds Recharged. Been on Infinity since its inception. There have been LOTS of new levels added recently (thank you, designers). Now I can't finish them. My ring count is over 350,000, with more to be added.
PLEASE BRING THIS GAME BACK!!!
THANK YOU!!!

Link doesn't work. Been having other problems with other links too. Thought the Ricochet problem was just on my end until recently. I guess I'm not alone.
I still have some unfinished levelsets to play that I already downloaded, so that'll keep me busy for awhile. And maybe they'll bring the game back up? Maybe?
Many thanks to ALL the terrific levelset designers over the years!! (lookin' at you, TokTok, among many others).

Hi Everyone,
We appreciate that our players want to keep in contact and share level sets they've created. Sharing like that is one of the great parts of the Ricochet: Infinity community! We do, however, ask that outside links not be posted on the forums, as our Moderation Team doesn't have a way to verify the security or validity of those links. This is one of our Forum Rules, specifically this one:
HTML, links, and images are not allowed in the forums.
If there are any questions or concerns, please feel free to PM me or another Moderator. We'll be happy to answer as best we can.

Hi mec9421,
At this time, our Moderator Team has not received any new information about the current state of Ricochet: Infinity or its servers. Should we receive any details about what may be happening, we'll certainly pass that along to our players through an announcement on the forum.
You're also always welcome to PM me or another Moderator with lingering concerns. We're happy to answer any questions we can.

It has been confirmed by one of the level tester members (I happen to be a former level tester myself on the original Ricochet Infinity level tester team myself.)
As TokTokk mentioned earlier which was quoted by Critter, that the entire site has been dismantled, forums down and no other sets can be shared or distributed by their main server. However, levels can be distributed locally through file sharing services such as dropbox, discord (which we had few links to that got removed, I'm totally aware of that and i do apologize because of the chaos that this has caused. I am the server owner.)
NOTE: You can still make level sets for the game, you just can't upload them unless distributed through any form of social channel.

This is just a mega dump on people who have selflessly created hundreds of levels spending hundreds of hours creating levels for the enjoyment of fans of this game.
It is just disgraceful.

I have only been playing this game for a little over a year, but have come to enjoy it immensely. As a ring collector, I am within 7,000 of reaching 100,000 (drat!), If Big Fish Games has in fact dismantled the on-line capability of playing the "Other Galactic Adventures" portion of the game, then we as customers of Big Fish Games are owed a refund for this game, as we are now unable to use a product, as it was created, for which we have purchased at X amount of dollars, or X amount of credits which could have been used to purchase fully functioning games. If you purchased this game, e-mail Big Fish Games, explain the situation, and request a refund. If they offer to provide another game to you as a replacement, if you purchased it with credits it basically amounts to an equitable trade-off so you have no leverage. However, if you paid cash, refuse and insist on a refund of your purchase price. If they refuse, check on line to see if they have a Better Business Bureau profile, and if they do, send the BBB an e-mail stating the situation and BFG's refusal to make good on a defective product they sold you. Believe me, the BBB will make a note of it on their website. If enough of you do this, MAYBE the on-line portion will be returned. Who knows, but it's worth a shot.

I downloaded a level set a little over a week ago - level set 4553! I have not been able to connect with the Ricochet forum or the levels in over a week. I did contact Amazon.com last week since they bought out the developer years ago and are now responsible for the game.
I received an email response that others are having the same issue and I was issued a ticket number. There was NO indication by Amazon that the game has been discontinued. That being said, I was able to find the other three variations of Ricochet (XTreme, Lost Worlds, and Lost Worlds Reloaded) on their site but only the MAC version of Infinity.
Note -- BigFishGames has nothing to do with this other than to provide the game. This is Amazon's game now. They have not indicated that the game is no longer supported and the error I get trying to access the site is that it timed out - not that it is not there. That would be a different error.
I currently have all 4553 level sets downloaded and a backup in a zip available for replacement if needed. I also back up the stats.dat file regularly so I can replace that and not have to start over if I install to a new computer!
I have 265,800 rings. I have completed 53,156 levels in 3505 sets beyond the 217 original 14 level sets. My point total (besides my half-completed level set) is 1,907,278,267! In all this work, I have only missed 15 rings over 4 levels. I've been playing for over 5 years and I'm still only 3/4 through!
They need to get the site back so I can reduce that percentage done!
