Lately, I seem to be having problems with my Bookworm Deluxe. It wouldn't launch and indicates that "..Bookworm Deluxe needs to be run on an administrator account..." I am using an administrator account and i'm the only person using my MacBook. It ran ok on the first run but have been giving me problems since the second run onwards. I even tried reinstalling from the CD but to no avail. All my other games from big fish that I installed on the same day are working well. Pls Advice....

I don't know the answer but I recently passed the 1 billion mark and there seems to be no stopping the counter from ticking over. It's taken me close to 500 hours to reach this point. So if 1,000 billions equal a trillion it would take me 480,000 hours (or 20,000 days) of playing bookworm to discover if that's the maximum score. Maths was never my strong point so if my figures are wrong I'm happy to be corrected - but it's still going to be a lot of hours playing Bookworm!

Once you hit about 2.5 Billion, the score begins to count backwards. Does anyone know what happens when you get back down to zero?

I'm on level 595 and counting (with the score going down still). I'll keep you posted if I ever get near zero. Please let me know if you have...

Hiya bookworm lovers i need you to help me as my partner is adamant bookworm is completely random!!! I am just as adamant its not but i cant convince him.I think each time you get red ones it is showing you a 6 letter word often right underneath the red one altho not always. It seems to know exactly what letters are on the board and often helps by giving you letters that help - eg. an L so you can do ULU when theres too many Us. What do others think?
