I was reading some of the European reviews on the game since it came out over there before here. Guess there was some early problems with the translation from Polish to English. Could you let us know if you encountered any troubles with that?

Will wait for your review on the game, Edna. Right now, I'm not overly anxious to purchase it without a trial period.

I'm a little hesitate about it....the demo video made it appear to be dark, and since I can't download it, is there anyone who has been able to play it. It appears to be a great game with lots of excitement and thrills. But, I think I need more than that before I buy. Anxious to hear what others have to say about it.

I have already bought the DVD to this game eons ago from a shop. And to be honest, a game this size I rather have on a DVD than download it from the Internet.

I downloaded it and played it for a little bit. It's actually not really my kind of game, but this one intrigued me. It seems to be o.k. - sound quality is good, so far no translation problems, as a matter of fact, it looks very American to me.
Not a lot of explanation on how different things work, but it's all pretty intuitive in my opinion.
Sorry I can't say more.

I'm hesitating too. I find it difficult to see objects on dark screens and am wondering if I would be able to find any clues to solve the murders. Some feedback on whether the clues are easy to see or whether they are 'tucked away' in the dark would be much appreciated.

From what I can tell so far, the screens are not dark - they're in a dark mood, but not dark in shade. Does that make sense?
This is more a Nancy Drew kind of game, where one has to go around and figure out what to do next and how to do it. It's not a hidden object game.
To answer cherb's question: the clues are not tucked away in the dark.

By the way, what we saw in the video is the very beginning of the game where something happens - that is in a dark building.

Thanks! :0)

I just finished downloading the game, can not play right now, I am just too , and now my pc has started it weekly scan. This game took longer than I thought, will put on my sherlock holmes hat later. But everyone should know I am a nut for these kind of games, so I am looking forward to it, right though I am looking forward to my bed zzzzzzzzzz, watch out for pillow drool

Edna you could do me a huge favor and in your review mention if there are any parts that require quick clicking. I'm seeing more of this happening in the Nancy Drew games and it can be a deal breaker for me as I just can't do it. So please keep this in mind when you play, I'd love to know. Thanks in advance!

Thanks rentonwa yes it does. I adore ND too. What I meant by 'clues' was were things like bloodstains etc difficult to see/find. As my husband will tell you sometimes I'm not very good at explaining myself. Hopefully, now I'm "talking" on a daily basis I'll get better. (I wish we had a "fingers crossed" emoticon, I could have used it several times already! LOL.

Was it any good? It looks good and I will buy after the Octoberfest promotion. I still need 2 games for the mug even though I have purchased 7 games this month. I know, no will power- but I'm trying!

Thanks, Rentonwa, your information has helped be a lot. For some reason I was thinking it was a HOG. I'm not into ND, so will probably pass on this game too.

This is more like Nancy Drew. Sorry Celeryhart. I'm hoping that we get Amazing Finds tonight. I played the demo and it's good!
